Why community involvement is important to us
Community involvement in local decision making and activities are crucial to improving the lives of residents in St.Helens.
In order to improve neighbourhoods and deliver high quality services we need to hear the views of residents and community groups and bring decision-making closer to them. This will help enable people to make choices about their own lives and encourage more widespread involvement in community activities and the democratic process.
St.Helens Local Strategic Partnership (LSP) aims to provide the right opportunities for people to tell us what they think and make it as easy as possible for them to participate. We will then regularly update residents on what impact their contribution has made to how we are shaping our plans and services for St.Helens.
